Knowledge management aims to provide easy access and management of the
information resource for the institutions and thus to create value by taking the right
decisions. Since knowledge management has a decisive impact on the business
performance and innovation process at different stages and requires a different
knowledge management concept, enterprises should integrate innovation selection
activities into knowledge management processes. Otherwise, businesses may face
problems in the management processes of the information resources they have.
The purpose of this chapter is to first specify the definition and tasks of knowledge
management, then to examine the knowledge management processes and to correctly
identify of the problems encountered in these processes to find and to implement
effective solutions and to realize effective management of the knowledge management
within the scope of organizational innovation. This study is very important for
businesses with a large scale of the budget, human resources, corporate memory,
and thus, a data source.

Digital transformation, which is the beginning of a new era, and performed in
order to provide a more effective service, has become a compulsory situation for
the enterprises that take into account the increasing corporate volumes. However,
the processes and technologies used in this transformation may change according
to the enterprise volume and needs. At this point, activities that implement artificial
intelligence technologies will make significant contributions to digital transformation.
Artificial intelligence technologies serve many purposes such as search, reasoning,
problem-solving, perception, learning, estimating, analytical thinking, optimization,
and planning. The purpose of this chapter is to demonstrate the effects of artificial
intelligence techniques on the processes of digital transformation utilized in
enterprises by considering the difficulties experienced in the realization of digital
transformation. It is expected that the study will provide a perspective for other
studies on digital transformation and thus create an awareness.

Book is described the arrangement of the Immortality. This is the scientific prediction of the non-biological (electronic) civilization and immortality of human being. Such a prognosis is predicated upon a new law, discovered by the author, for the development of complex systems. According to this law, every self-copying system tends to be more complex than the previous system, provided that all external conditions remain the same. The consequences are disastrous: humanity will be replaced by a new civilization created by intellectual robots (which the author refers to as "E-humans" and "E-beings"), These creatures, whose intellectual and mechanical abilities will far exceed those of man, will require neither food nor oxygen to sustain their existence. They may have the emotion. Capable of developing science, technology and their own intellectual abilities thousands of times faster than humans can, they will, in essence, be eternal.

In Russian Foreign Policy: The Return of Great Power Politics, Jeffrey Mankoff examines the course of Russian foreign policy since the dissolution of the Soviet Union in 1991. He provides a comprehensive overview of both the continuity and the changes in Russian foreign policy from the end of the Cold War to the Putin era, and analyses Russia’s interactions with major global powers. Throughout the book, the author makes use of various theoretical approaches, including theories of international relations, classical geopolitical theory and Russian geopolitical tradition.

In this novel work, Paul Chilton expends a considerable amount of effort examining relations between the use of language and political discourse (p. xi). Many realist linguists in the past century claimed that language should be evaluated as the innate part of a human mind. The scholarly interest in the public use of language is followed by critical theory and the Frankfurt School of social theory and philosophy, which considered language rather as a social phenomenon than a mental phenomenon and intended to validate the crucial relationship between language, politics and culture.

The ultimate cause of much historical, social and cultural change is the gradual accumulation of human knowledge of the environment. Human beings use the materials in their environment to meet their needs and increased human knowledge of the environment enables human needs to be met in a more efficient manner. When human knowledge of the properties of gases and vacuums grew they were able to produce an internal combustion engine that greatly improved the human need for transport. Motor cars and aeroplanes were invented and agriculture and sea transport were improved. The human environment has a particular structure so that human knowledge of the environment is acquired in a particular order. The simplest knowledge is acquired first and more complex knowledge is acquired later. This resulted in improvements to both motor cars and air transport throughout the twentieth century so that people had much better and more affordable transport by the end of the century. The growth of world trade, tourism, international migration and globalization can partly be attributed to improved transport systems. This means human social and cultural history, has to follow a particular course, a course that is determined by the structure of the human environment.

Digitalization and the emergence of the Internet have resulted in escalating access to information and communication. Given the circumstances that soaring access to information amounts to the intensification of misinformation and disinformation, a set of critical skills to navigate and critically assess the information is necessary. This paper outlines the significance of these skills, and provides a perspective on metaliteracy as a supplement to media and information literacy, and argues that the ability to conceptualize, access, comprehend, analyze, and use information is crucial in achieving inclusive, pluralistic, and participatory knowledge societies.

From the animosity of the Cold War era, the rapprochement in 1972, normalization of relations in 1979, to rising China and the current trade war, the US-China relationship has emerged and been regarded as an important relationship in global politics, and distinctively significant in the shaping of world order. The United States, a fount of modern think tanks, is home to approximately 30% of the total in the world. These think tanks were gradually embedded into American politics and exercise undoubtedly significant influence in the policymaking process, particularly foreign affairs. Hence, as an emerging global power, China has been the subject of US think tanks debate from different perspectives, such as economy, military, and foreign affairs. This study reviews the post-World War II US-China relations, addresses China’s economic and military rise, its territorial claims and provides policy options for balancing cooperation and conflict in each of these matters. Given that the assimilation of perspectives of American think tanks can foster comprehending the perception of the US regarding China’s rise and Washington-Beijing relations, this internet-mediated research based on foreign policy analysis with the principal focus on agency at institutional level takes a systematic approach to discuss China policy debates among the US think tanks. The objective is to offer an overall review of the China policy debate in the US over the past two decades, whereas the chief focus is dedicated to the perceptions of China in American think tanks about the concepts of “China collapse”, “China threat” and “China responsibilities”; furthermore, providing an assessment of the impact of think tanks on China’s most-favored-nation (MFN) treatment, the legislature on permanent normal trade relations (PNTR), and contemporary trade relations between the two countries.

The invention of photography was only possible due to the camera obscura effect which produces an upside down image of a scene on the back wall of a box when light is reflected through a tiny hole in the box. The camera obscura effect has been known since classical times. The invention of photography required that the image be fixed and reproducible and this was not achieved until the 19th century, after the discovery of the light sensitive properties of certain silver compounds, which resulted from scientific discoveries in the preceding three centuries. After photography was invented it was improved by the invention of color photography and became cheaper and easier. The order of discovery was inevitable and is an example of how social and cultural history has to follow a particular course determined by the structure of the world around us. Photography is only possible due to the existence in nature, of the camera obscura effect and of the existence of light sensitive compounds and only when they were put together, was photography invented.

The ultimate cause of much historical, social and cultural change is the gradual accumulation of knowledge of the human environment. The invention of glass and microscopes and telescopes, substantially increased human knowledge of the human environment. Microscopes and telescopes would not have been possible without the prior discovery of glassmaking and some knowledge of the law of refraction. Without the microscope we would have no knowledge of micro organisms and the causes of many diseases. Without the telescope we would probably still believe the sun and planets orbited a stationary earth. The change from an earth centered universe, the common sense theory for societies with unassisted vision, to a sun centered theory such as the Newtonian system, and then to General Relativity was inevitable. This was because the knowledge provided by unassisted vision, naturally led to an earth centered universe, the knowledge available from 17th to 19th century telescopes and mathematics led naturally to a sun centered system, such as the Newtonian system and better telescopes led naturally to a theory such as General Relativity. The human environment has a particular structure so that human knowledge of the environment is acquired in a particular order. The simplest knowledge is acquired first and more complex knowledge is acquired later. The order of discovery determines the course of human social and cultural history as knowledge of new and more efficient means of meeting human needs, results in new technology, which results in the development of new social and ideological systems. This means human social and cultural history, has to follow a particular course, a course that is determined by the structure of the human environment.
