The xLi2O.ySiO2.zCaO (1-x-y-z)B2O3 glass system (where x = 0, 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 mol%, y=60 mol% and z=10 mol%) was processed through a dissolved quench technique. To acquire the structural performance of silica, calcium, boron and oxygen were minutely observed by using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) and X-ray diffraction. The position and relative quantities of IR bands responsible for the distinct silicate and borate units were determined using deconvoluted spectra. For the increased amount of B2O3 the results show that BO3 occupies the network position and creates the linkage SiO-Ca. The bands related to the bending mode of H2O molecules and the stretching mode of B—O—H groups forming hydrogen bonding are shown to result in several bands: 23002380cm-1 and 2820-3505 cm-1 respectively. The XRD order of the base samples exhibited homogeneous glasses and also an optical reconnoitre, but did not show any phase separation record.

Bemba Pocket Dictionary, Bemba-English and English-Bemba, by Rev. E. Hoch and The Graphical Law

Authors: Anindya Kumar Biswas
Comments: 28 Pages. A mistake in plotting BW(c=0.01) has been rectified

We study the Bemba head entries of the Bemba Pocket Dictionary, Bemba-English and English-Bemba, by Rev. E. Hoch, 1960. We draw the natural logarithm of the number of head entries, normalised, starting with a letter vs the natural logarithm of the rank of the letter, normalised/unnormalised. We find that the Bemba head entries underlie a magnetisation curve of a Spin-Glass in the presence of little external magnetic field.

Anomaly of Topological Phase Transition in One-Dimensional Fermionic Systems at Nonzero Temperature

Authors: Xiao-Dong Cui

It was realized as an important progress in the field of topological matters that the nontrivial topological phase will be violated when temperature hits or exceeds a nonzero threshold. However, the concept of anomaly of topological phase transition is firstly introduced in the paper, refering to the nontrivial topological phase at nonzero temperature transitioned from a trivial one at zero temperature. A no-go theorem is here proved that the anomaly cannot happen to one-dimensional fermionic flat-band systems. Besides, the existence of the anomaly is obtained and analyzed by reexaming the mapping of the parameters of the system Hamiltonian in momentum space which plays a pivotal role in the anomaly rather than energy band.
