The microscopic model of detonation in condensed state is suggested. Nonempirical equations for detonation velocity and detonation pressure of individual explosive in con-densed state at theoretical density were deduced on the basis of this model. It is shown a good coincidence of experimental and calculated data that is not worse than in well-known models with Becker-Kistiakowsky-Wilson and Lennard-Jones-Devonshire equations of state.

In this article I show a relatively simple system that can provide
a net power that comes from the atmospheric pressure. The system uses
the pressure of a water column, and two other external devices to
create a cycle that has a net power output. The potential use of such
system is probably limited by many technical factors, but the system
serves as an example of how power can be extracted continuously from
the atmosphere.

This is a study of a relatively simple system that seems to provide
an energy output greater than the visible energy input thanks to the
extraction of energy from the surrounding atmosphere. This is a theoretical
study, no experiments with real systems of this type has been performed
by the author. The idea of this system is the possibility of using
hydrostatic pressure to obtain compressed air to be used in various
ways, however the source of energy is not the water pressure but the
atmospheric pressure.

This paper describes a simple experiment on detecting gyroscopic thrust demonstrated by Prof. Eric Laithwaite in 1974. In this experiment the gyroscope suspended on the line by one end of its rotation axis was deflecting from the pivot point during precession. In addition to the original setup the author has isolated the gyroscope from surrounding air and conducted a video recording of the experiment from two positions simultaneously. The recording of gyroscope position and orientation allowed author to determine the trajectory of the gyroscope and analyze the deflection dependency on gyroscope orientation. The results of this analysis indicate the existence of the external force acting on the gyroscope and causing the increase or decrease in linear momentum. It is suggested that the force is a result of the difference in aether pressure in front and at the back of the gyroscope rotor.

The difficulties which have arisen on a way of generalisation of thermodynamics
on open polyvariant systems and irreversible processes are analyzed. The conclusion
about necessity of working out more general phenomenological theory considering
specificity of real processes in non-uniform systems, far from equilibrium becomes

The earth’s gravity can be viewed as the centripetal force resulting from the coupling of its rotational and orbital motions. These motions were (presumably) set in train in the early universe, when the solar system formed from a spinning nebula. The original angular momentum of the nebula has (apparently) been largely conserved during the subsequent evolution of the solar system. In an idealized (frictionless) system, involving the circulation of an object around a centre at constant velocity, a centripetal force is exerted by the object towards the centre; in the case of the coupled rotational-orbital motion of the earth, the centripetal force would be directed towards its own centre. The law of conservation of angular momentum requires that the circulation continue ad infinitum in the absence of an external force. The gravity apparently experienced by objects approaching the earth, and the variation of gravity with latitude are explicable by extending the above ideas. (The estimated value of the above centripetal acceleration on the earth is 1.4x102 ms-2, which compares reasonably with the observed value of g of 9.8 ms-2, considering the approximations employed.)
