Forces and Vectors

This is a joint introduction to mathematics and physics, guided by the dimensionality of the ambient space, and with the mathematics and physics chapters alternating. We start with a discussion on what happens in 1 dimension, namely the basics of calculus, and some physics too, including 1D collisions, relativity, gravity, waves and heat. Then we go on a similar discussion in 2D, featuring this time plane vectors, complex numbers, and more advanced physics, such as elliptic orbits under gravity. We then discuss what happens in 3 dimensions, namely standard vector calculus, and 3D classical mechanics, and the basics of electromagnetism. Finally, we discuss 4D and curved spacetime, and we end with a brief introduction to quantum mechanics.
