Uniformly Accelerated Motion Observed from a Perpendicularly Moving Inertial Frame:Kinematics and Energy-Momentum Transformation

Authors: Sangwha Yi

We analyze the motion of a point particle executing uniformly accelerated motion(constant proper acceleration) from rest in an inertial frame S', as observed from a second inertial frame S whose velocity relativity to S is perpendicular to the acceleration axis.Starting from the Lorentz transformation for a perpendicular boost, we derive the complete kinematics of the particle in S.
