How Can We Take the Intelligent Design People Seriously?

Authors: Remi Cornwall

In this paper, the author argues that evolution of life solely on this planet is not the general case given panspermia (even colonisation/infestation given space technology) and statistically there ought to be life in this vast universe that didn't originate on the planet it resides upon. This raises too, the not insignificant prospect, that life can even been created or genetically modified and brought to a planet, whereupon it could develop in isolation by Darwin/Wallace Laws of Evolution. Inescapably, by the possibility of Evolution giving rise to intelligent life, it must feature a component of Intelligent Design too and to deny this is ironically quasi-religious dogma.
