I Shot the Buddha, But I Did not Shoot the Deity

Authors: John Roach

This essay proposes that Buddhism was invented around 260 B.C.E. which is centuries after Siddhartha Gautama, "The Enlightened One", is said to have lived. Jainism is postulated to have been plagiarized twice: first by Pythagorus of Samos of ancient Ionia Greece & then by Emperor Ashoka of the Mauryan Dynasty of ancient India. This essay postulates a chain of events from ancient Zoroasterism to the ancient Gnostic Christians.
