Heavy Gravitons On–shell Decay of the Higgs Boson at High Scales of Energy

We propose a gauge theory of gravity with heavy gravitons. In this framework, we examine whether renormalization effects can cause Newton’s constant to change dramatically with energy, perhaps even reducing the scale of quantum gravity to the TeV region. For the Standard Model (SM) Higgs boson, with mass 125GeV, we derive the invisible width of Higgs boson decay into heavy gravitons and calculate the ratios of partial widths and couplings for the Higgs decays into heavy gravitons and W vector bosons. This proposition may reveal Higgs and graviton properties for new physics Beyond Standard Model (BSM).

The Cosmic Forging of Protons by the Electromagnetic Compression of Quarks

Considerations of the presently held views regarding the synthesis of nucleons from quarks during the nascent stages of our cosmos, when its gravitational hold was so great that no energy or particles could escape its plasmatic core, have led to three alternative schemes for forging quarks into protons by utilizing their mutual attractive electromagnetic potential energy for the forging process. The three models provide the mass and energy of the primary quarks, the resulting forged quarks, the potential energy assimilated by the proton, and its final attractive hold, as deduced and detailed in the body of this paper. The values deduced for the primary quarks (193.845e or 196.98e) suggest that muons (~207e) could be playing the role of the long sought quarks.

The Koide Formula and Its Analogues

In July 2012 the LHC announced observation of a state of the Standard Model Higgs boson around 125 GeV. In view of the detailed LHC histograms for the Higgs to ZZ to 4l Golden Channel, I remain in favor of a Standard Model Higgs with 3 Mass States: 126.257 GeV; around 200 GeV; and around 250 GeV. (References are included in the body of the paper and in linked material.) Revised version 2 added more details about Higgs mass states and their cross-sections. Version 3 reorganizes expository material and includes LHC results at Moriond 2013. Version 4 adds more detailed ATLAS ZZ to 4l histogram from animated gif.

Generalized Quantum Impedances: A Background Independent Model for the Unstable Particles

The discovery of exact impedance quantization in the quantum Hall effect was greatly facilitated by scale invariance. This letter explores the possibility that quantum impedances may be generalized, defined not just for the Lorentz force and the quantum Hall effect, but rather for all forces, resulting in a precisely structured network of scale dependent and scale invariant impedances. If the concept of generalized quantum impedances correctly describes the physical world, then such impedances govern how energy is transmitted and reflected, how the hydrogen atom is ionized by a 13.6eV photon, or why the pizero branching ratio is what it is. An impedance model of the electron is presented, and explored as a model for the unstable particles.
