Potential Vortex Transient Analysis and Experiment

Authors: John R. Cipolla

A series of experiments and hydrodynamic analyses has been conducted to resolve the paradox that a viscous-flow distribution between concentric cylinders can be identical to a potential vortex (inviscid-flow) distribution at steady state. Where a potential vortex or tornado can be described as the flow around and through a drain hole at the bottom of a large container. As an approximation to this phenomenon, an experimental device to simulate a three dimensional potential vortex was fabricated that used a rapidly rotating central cylinder or rotating core located on the axis of a cylindrical basin filled with water. The fluid surface shape and velocity profile of an artificially generated potential vortex or free vortex was experimentally measured and compared with hydrodynamic models to define the viscid and inviscid nature of the potential vortex flow. A new program called VORTEX based on a finite difference solution of the Navier-Stokes equations was developed to determine the transient velocity profile and transient free surface shape of the potential vortex for comparison with experiment. From these experiments it is proposed the paradox is resolved because energy-momentum is conserved in a potential vortex under steady state conditions. This work can be applied to the measurement of the potential vortex flow generated by aircraft wing tips, interior flow of aircraft jet engines, rocket motor propellant tanks and natural phenomena like tornadoes, hurricanes and General Relativity.

New Methods of Removing Space Debris

Authors: Alexander Bolonkin

In 1957 the new era of studying outer Space by space apparatus was ushered in. During this past half century, thousands of satellites, space ships and space stations were launched. The tens of thousands of slivers from old rockets remaining in Space represent a serious danger for new satellites, space craft, space stations and space travelers. Currently, about 19,000 pieces of debris larger than 5 cm (2.0 in) are tracked. Any of them can damage a space apparatus. This work delineates the problems of the space debris (amount, distribution, growth, danger and so on), reviews the old and contemporary methods of cleaning up the debris, and evaluates the relative efficiency of the current and new methods. This paper offers new methods and installations for cleaning outer space from space debris and specific protection of important space ships and stations from large space debris (SD). Advantages of the offered method and apparatus are the following: 1. Smaller size and weight by 2 -3 times than conventional SD Collector. 2. Greater efficiency by 2 -3 times. 3. Saves fuel by some times. 4. No limits in size for SD. 5. Can easily protect a space ship and station (for example, International Space Station) from SD.

Currently (2011), about 19,000 pieces of space debris larger than 5 cm (2.0 in) are tracked (for example: old non-working satellites, last stages of rockets and so on). Any of them can catastrophic damage the working space apparatus, space stations and space ship. The field of invention is a method and installation (space apparatus) for cleaning the outer Space from Space debris, protection current and future space station, ships, space apparatus from space debris, meteroids and enemy attack. Offered devices also can be installed on new space apparatus for returning them into the planet atmosphere after lifetime or in dangerous situation. Author offers new method and installation for cleaning the outer space from space debris and individual protection the important space ship and stations from big space debris (SD). Advantages of the offered method and apparatus are following: 1. Less size and weight in 2 -3 times than conventional SD Collector. 2. More efficiency in 2 -10 times. 3. Save fuel in some times. 4. No limits in size for SD. 5. Can easy protect selected space ship and station (for example, International Space Station) from SD.

"Emission & Regeneration" Unified Field Theory

Authors: Osvaldo Domann
Comments: 100 Pages. Copyright. The content of the present work, its ideas, axioms, postulates, definitions, derivations, results, findings, etc., can be reproduced only by making clear reference to the author.

The methodology of today's theoretical physics consists in introducing first all known forces by separate definitions independent of their origin, arriving then to quantum mechanics after postulating the particle's wave, and is then followed by attempts to infer interactions of particles and fields postulating the invariance of the wave equation under gauge transformations, allowing the addition of minimal substitutions. The origin of the limitations of our standard theoretical model is the assumption that the energy of a particle is concentrated at a small volume in space. The limitations are bridged by introducing artificial objects and constructions like gluons, W and Z bosons, gravitons, dark matter, dark energy, etc. The proposed approach models subatomic particles such as electrons and positrons as focal points in space where continuously fundamental particles are emitted and absorbed, fundamental particles where the energy of the electron or positron is stored as rotations defining longitudinal and transversal angular momenta (fields). Interaction laws between angular momenta of fundamental particles are postulated in that way, that the basic laws of physics (Coulomb, Ampere, Lorentz, Maxwell, Gravitation, etc.) can be derived from the postulates. This methodology makes sure, that the approach is in accordance with the basic laws of physics, in other words, with well proven experimental data. Due to the dynamical description of the particles the proposed approach has not the limitations of the standard model and is not forced to introduce artificial objects or constructions. All forces are the product of electronagnetic interactions described by QED.

Introduction to the Tron Theory

Authors: Richard A. Marsen, James R. Marsen
Comments: 10 Pages.

The Tron Theory is proposed for unifying physical science. It presents a new fundamental particle called the tron. The tron is several orders of magnitude smaller than the electron. Trons are premised to be everywhere, their physical involvement thorough. Each tron is composed of even smaller particles called rons. Adjacent trons attract each other with an elemental force that is neutral of charge. The inter-tron force is inversely proportional to the distance between tron cores. The fundamental particles are constructed with trons closely pressed together. Tenuous arrays of trons cohere to form the respective imponderable physical fields. Micro-particle action is revealed as a causal discipline. Particles are presented in determinate activity. The composition and dynamic properties of the tron and ron are set forth in seven axiom forming the Tron Postulate.

A New Principle of Conservation of Energy

Authors: Alejandro A. Torassa

In classical mechanics, this paper presents a new principle of conservation of energy which is invariant under transformations between reference frames and which can be applied in any reference frame (rotating or non-rotating) (inertial or non-inertial) without the necessity of introducing fictitious forces.

GTR and Perpetuum Mobile Rehabilitation

Authors: Solomon I. Khmelnik

First of all, the author solemnly declares that he recognizes the energy conservation law (understanding, however, that it will not help). Next we shall show that this law does not contradict the possibility of building a perpetual motion machine that uses the force of gravity. This, of course, reduces the kinetic energy of the Earth, but the author ignores this problem (in the same way as it is ignored by the designers of hydropower plants).

GTR and Perpetuum Mobile Rehabilitation // ОТО и реабилитация вечного двигателя

First of all, the author solemnly declares that he recognizes the energy conservation law (understanding, however, that it will not help). Next we shall show that this law does not contradict the possibility of building a perpetual motion machine that uses the force of gravity. This, of course, reduces the kinetic energy of the Earth, but the author ignores this problem (in the same way as it is ignored by the designers of hydropower plants).

Relations Between Significant Masses in the Micro and Macro World Based on the Boscovich's Theory

Authors: Branko Zivlak, Dragoslav Stoiljkovich
Comments: 10 Pages. 8 formulas

Starting from "A Theory of Natural Philosophy" by Roger Boscovich (1711−1787), we are showing that some significant masses in the micro and macro world, mi, (the Planck mass, fundamental mass, background mass, hypothetical mass quantum mq, as well as the masses of vacuum, infinite universe and our universe) can be calculated by a simple equation mi=mqN1/i, where N is a large non-dimensional number (6.3870772•10^+121) and i=-1, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, infinite. Knowing these significant masses is useful for the calculation of other real masses. We are also showing the examples of calculating the masses of proton, electron and up quark.

In Than Advantage and Deficiencies in the Special Theory of Relativity?

Authors: Mende F. F.

In order to understand advantages and deficiencies in the special theory of relativity (STR) we they must describe as it is built and what basic condition lie at its basis. Within the framework the conversions of Galileo with the description of physical phenomena they are used four independent variables (three coordinates and time). In STR variables they are not already independent variables, since is accepted the postulate about the independence of the speed of light upon transfer of one inertial system (ISR) into another.

Maxwell Equations Are Necessary?

Authors: Mende F. F.

The important task of electrodynamics is the presence of laws governing the appearance of electrical pour on, and, therefore, also the forces of those acting on the charge, at the particular point spaces, since only electric fields, generated other one or method or another, exert power influences on the charge.
