When calculating the resonance frequency of a fast moving mass-spring-mass oscillator, this contradicts the relativistic time dilation. The calculated frequency depends on the inertial system used for the calculation. There are indications that the elastic potential energy of a spring decreases with increasing speed and does not increase as predicted by the theory of relativity.
