Authors: George Rajna
Scientists at Lancaster University and the University of Oxford have created a nano-electronic circuit which vibrates without any external force. The research is carried out in the Quantum Photonics Group at the Niels Bohr Institute, which is a part of the newly established Center for Hybrid Quantum Networks (Hy-Q) With international collaboration, researchers at Aalto University have now developed a nanosized amplifier to help light signals propagate through microchips. Physicists at the Kastler Brossel Laboratory in Paris have reached a milestone in the combination of cold atoms and nanophotonics.
