A proposal is made of a 5th Eddington dimensionless ratio based upon characteristic energies of monatomic and diatomic H. This 5th Eddington ratio is described in connection with the 4 other such ratios introduced and defined by A.S. Eddington in the 1920's. A discussion is provided of certain mathematical approximants that these 5 dimensionless numbers can be characterized by, as well as by their definitions as certain ratios of natural physical constants.
