The meta-analysis revealed that, relative to healthy individuals, pneumoconiosis patients showed significantly more pronounced tendencies toward experiencing anxiety, depression, somatization, horror, forced, paranoia, interpersonal sensitivity, enmity, psychosis. Conclusion: Serious mental health problems exist among pneumoconiosis patients in comparison with healthy individuals, particularly with regard to experiencing anxiety, depression. The mental health exhibited by pneumoconiosis patients appears to be worse than that of healthy individuals.
