## Constructing a Mathematical Framework for the Ensemble Interpretation Based on Double-Slit Experiments

The ensemble interpretation attributes the wave appearances of particles to their statistical characteristics. This has increasingly interested scientists. However, the ensemble interpretation is still not a scientific theory based on mathematics. Here, based on double-slit experiment, a mathematical framework for the ensemble interpretation is constructed. The Schr odinger equation and the de-Broglie equation are also deduced. Finally, a proof for the hypothesis of the Feynman path integral is provided. Analysis shows that the wave appearances of particles is caused by the statistical
properties of these particles; the nature of the wave function is the average or the sum of the least
action for the particles in a position.
