This paper discusses the recent housing policy in Brazil. It examines the Program “My House My Life”, a government program providing funds to small municipalities and specifically how this has been applied in the state of Pará in the Brazilian Amazon. Based on research of books and documents, the issue of housing and urban struggles are considered. The results of this research show that these small municipalities have a limited administrative capacity for the implementation of this program.
